Rear Admiral Akinsola M Johnson, Rtd
Akinsola Michael Johnson started his military career as a naval cadet of the 27 Regular Course at the Nigerian Defence Academy on 4 January 1980. As a naval officer, Johnson committed almost 35 years of service to the development of the Nigerian Navy making significant impact and valuable contributions in naval engineering and logistics from entry level to command, leadership and management positions. He retired voluntarily from active service of the Nigerian Navy as a two-star admiral on 3 October 2014 after a distinguished naval career.
The Admiral is a distinguished engineer, published author, prolific BusinessDay columnist and committed Christian leader and a leadership enthusiast. The Admiral is a distinguished member of the Editorial Advisory Board of BusinessDay Media Limited. He is a trustee of the Amazing Grace Christ Mission Church and Pearl Amazing Charity Foundation respectively.
Along with his professional experience, the Admiral has completed a Master of Business Administration in Technology Management from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria. In addition, he has bagged several military awards and honors, professional trainings and course certificates. Admiral Johnson has attended many professional and certificate courses at the World Maritime University, Manchester Business School, Cranfield University, and London School of Business and Finance, amongst others.
He attended the prestigious Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Nigeria, where he was privileged to be a member of Directing Staff and later Chief Instructor in the Department of Maritime Warfare. Admiral Johnson is an alumnus of the Naval
Command College Class 2007 of the United States Naval War College, Newport, Rhode Island, USA. The Admiral served on the Faculty at the National Defence College, Abuja, Nigeria.
He was the Vice Chairman of both the Membership Committee as well as the Logistics and Transport Committee of the Institute of Director, Nigeria. He was the chairman of the sub-committee that organized the first logistics and transport conference of the IOD, Nigeria in 2017. He is currently a member of the Membership and Branch Development Committee of the same Institute. The Admiral was a Member, Planning and Development Committee of the Nigerian Chamber of Shipping for the Development of Professional Postgraduate Diploma Program on Maritime/Oil and Gas Management Technology for the Niger Delta University; 2013.
He was the Commandant, Nigerian Naval Engineering College, Sapele, Nigeria. Johnson served at the Nigerian Naval Dockyard on a few occasions and he was at one time the General Manager Plans. The Admiral was the Commander of the Fleet Support Group East and West respectively of the Nigerian Navy Logistics Command.
Admiral Johnson is a member of some professional bodies and he has attended many certified and technical courses in Nigeria and abroad. The Admiral is a professional manager of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) and a Member of the Institute of Directors (IoD), Nigeria. Johnson is a Fellow of the Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria. Rear Admiral Johnson is a registered engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineers in Nigeria (COREN) and Corporate Member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).
Admiral Johnson is an honorary citizen of the State of Rhode Island, USA. He is happily married to Mrs Sherifat Oluwakemi Johnson and the marriage is blessed with two gentlemen- Gabriel and Samson.
Professor Nat OFO [Ph.D., B.L.]
Nat Ofo is a professor of Corporate Law and Governance at the Department of Business Law, College of Law, Igbinedion University, Okada, Edo State. He joined Igbinedion University, Okada, from Nigerian Breweries Plc (a subsidiary of Heineken N.V. of The Netherlands) where he occupied Middle Management and Senior Management positions in the legal, finance, supply chain, human resource and company secretarial functions during his 14-year career at the company. While he was the Company Secretary/Legal Adviser of Nigerian Breweries Plc, he was also a Director of NB Registrars Limited (a then subsidiary of Nigerian Breweries Plc).
He is Fellow and past President of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria and remains a member of its Governing Council. He is also a member of the Board of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). At the Institute of Directors (IoD) Nigeria, he is a Fellow and a member of its Executive Committee (ExCo). Furthermore, he is an independent non-executive director on the Board of Directors of Premium Pension Limited. He was a member of the Board of the Association of Professional Bodies of Nigeria.
Professor Nat Ofo has a passion for corporate governance, which was the focus of his doctoral thesis. As a prolific writer, he has written numerous refereed articles on corporate governance and other law-related issues in several learned journals and business periodicals, locally and overseas.
Furthermore, Professor Nat Ofo was the Vice Chairman of the Steering Committee commissioned by the Federal Government of Nigeria in 2013 to harmonise the numerous corporate governance codes in Nigeria and develop a National Code of Corporate Governance for the country. He was a member of the Technical Committee, appointed by the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria in 2018 to review the suspended National Code of Corporate Governance, which developed the Nigerian Code of Corporate Governance 2018. Also, he was a member of the National Universities Commission’s Panel of Experts that developed the Code of Corporate Governance for Private Universities in Nigeria 2018.
As a public speaker and presenter, he has delivered numerous papers at conferences, seminars and workshops on corporate governance and law-related issues. In addition, he facilitates the corporate governance component of the training programmes of the Institute of Directors (IoD) Nigeria and the IoD Centre for Corporate Governance. He is also a member of the Working Group of the Corporate Governance Network in Nigeria.

Mrs. Nonye Cally Bechi
Nonye Cally-Bechi has been involved in training, coaching and consulting for over 15 years with the intention of dramatically increasing profit, productivity, and the performance of people. She has facilitated trainings for executives at all levels and has been responsible for designing and implementing various trainings solutions.
She has trained more than 38,000 youths to become employable in the job market. Has also trained people from lower to senior management positions in local and multi-national companies, public & private sectors. She designs, trains and develop programmes from lower to top management in soft skills. Her quest for continuous Human & Talent Development promises highly energizing and power-packed training style.
She is a qualified image consultant and a speech coach. She has a major intellectual interest in Personality Development and Personal Branding. She has garnered a rich reserve of knowledge from managing people and has featured as facilitator and coach to many prestigious organisations, including the public and private sectors; and high net worth individuals.

She is married and blessed with three children.
Mrs. Tope Omage
Mrs. Tope Orhionsefe Omage started her early education at St. Anne’s school, Ibadan where she obtained her WASC O’levels certificate (1975). She received an HND in Accounting (1979), was awarded an MBA (2000) and she has attended numerous short Courses, Seminars, Conferences and Workshops; both local and international (including Stanford, Whaton, Center for Creative Leadership & North Western University). Professionally, she is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Management (2011), Member of the Institute of Directors and Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, a Member of the prestigious Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (2012) and a certified Mediator.
She commenced her working career in 1977 with Pius Momodu and Company Chartered Accountants, Benin. Her reputation as a thoroughbred accountant saw her excel at the Benin Owena River Basin Development Authority, where she rose to Assistant Chief Accountant. Her illustrious career at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) started in 1993 as a Bank Examiner. In 2006, she became Assistant Director, Jos Branch where she coordinated and supervised banking services. She also served as the Chairman of the Branch Alms Committee, before she moved to Internal Audit Department as Deputy Director.
She was appointed Director of Branch Operations Department in (2012). There again, under her skilled leadership, she set the pace and direction for the department and the 37 branches. She monitored, coordinated and maintained general oversight
on the branches and facilitated excellent service delivery. Her culture of excellence motivated the present administration to transfer her to the Finance Department to help drive the nascent agenda. Mrs. Omage has made history by becoming the first ever, Female Director of Finance. She led her team to adopt IFRS for CBN Financial statements.
She has served in various committees of ICAN, was a former governing council member of NASB (FRCN), member of Advisory Board of three secondary schools, board member SmartWoman Nigeria and NSITF
They say that big things come in small packages. Despite her heavy portfolio, she has time for other activities. She is an author, a Motivational Speaker and currently the Coordinator of the Women in Management, Business and Public service (WIMBIZ) Abuja.
In 2011 she published a book titled, “Enjoying Family Life, God’s recipe”. She is married and has adult children.
She retired from the Central Bank of Nigeria in December 2015 after 35years of meritorious service with the Federal Government of Nigeria. Retired but not tired, She currently the CEO of TOMAG consulting and runs Tomaville events centre, a one stop shop for all your events, She is into financial advisory services, SMEs, entrepreneurship, business revamping, loan restructuring and business process engineering.
